I had a dream i died and then i wandered my house as a ghost i could hug my family and they could slightly feel it, when i walked under lights they flickered off and afterward the room around me morphed into a white lobby like area with many eyes scribbled on the walls, people rushed from a hall to get to a line which a person tallied everyones sins and let them into purgatory, i was let in and i stayed at a hotel.
Dreams about death can often symbolize transformation, change, or a significant transition in your life rather than a literal end. In your dream, dying and becoming a ghost suggests that you might be grappling with aspects of your identity, past experiences, or relationships that you feel disconnected from. The ability to hug your family and have them slightly feel it indicates a lingering emotional connection and perhaps a desire for closeness, even if you feel like you’re no longer entirely part of their world.
The flickering lights may represent confusion or uncertainty in your life, highlighting feelings of instability as you navigate through your current circumstances. The transformation of your surroundings into a white lobby with eyes on the walls could symbolize judgment or observation from others—perhaps you feel scrutinized by societal expectations or are confronting your own feelings of guilt. The eyes can also represent awareness, as if you’re trying to comprehend deeper truths about yourself or your situation.
The line where individuals have their sins tallied indicates a reckoning with your actions or choices. This could suggest that you're in a period of introspection, evaluating your past mistakes or decisions, and seeking forgiveness or resolution. Entering purgatory could imply that you are in a transitional phase, allowing yourself to confront these issues before moving forward.
Finally, staying at the hotel symbolizes a temporary state of existence or feeling unsettled. It may reflect a desire to take a break from your life or a sense that you are not yet fully engaged in your path.
Overall, this dream might be encouraging you to reflect on your past, your relationships, and perhaps the changes you wish to make, inviting you to find ways to reconnect with those you care about and seek peace with your experiences.
